Each month we donate a portion of our profits to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. This month we will be focusing on a 5-month-old Heart Warrior named Emma.
Emma was born with a heart defect where she has two holes in her heart. At only one-month-old, Emma spent time in the hospital for fluid around her heart that caused one of her heart valves to not function properly. In August, at two months old, Emma’s health was doing poorly and she required open heart surgery. Her family stayed by her side in the hospital for three weeks. This surgery saved Emma’s life. Since August she has been able to slowly begin to gain weight and even work on tummy time. Her two older sisters are delighted to have her home now.
The Legendairy Littles donation will be used to help Emma’s family with her continued care.
