Meet This Month's Legendairy Little, Paloma

Each month we donate a portion of our profits to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. The month of October we will be focusing on Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS).

Paloma is a beautiful 9-month old who has Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS). She is one of around 400 reported cases worldwide of this rare genetic condition. Every person with PKS may experience different symptoms, but almost all these 450 people have seizures, hypotonia, hearing and vision loss, pulmonary issues, renal and heart issues, and developmental delays. Paloma has hearing loss in her left ear and underwent surgery in July to correct a tethered spinal cord. She has recovered wonderfully from her surgery and will soon be starting physical therapy. She does have developmental delays in all domains, but her family is hoping that with vision, occupational, hearing, and physical therapy that she will begin to see improvements. Her family treasures every day and are learning what it means to take one day at a time with Paloma.

The Legendairy Littles donation to Paloma’s family will help with special needs equipment that she needs.
