Imani i2 Plus Wearable Breast Pump

This pump is a game changer. Being able to move around while pumping is key, the clear cups are extremely helpful when deciding when to stop pumping, and as someone with high supply trying to pump as few times per day as possible I desperately needed the high 7oz cup capacity. It’s quick to clean. The suction is strong (I use it on 2/5) and the battery life is awesome. shirt I definitely get over 2 hours per motor. It’s a little louder than the Elvie but quieter than the Medela Pump in Style and I had problems with one of my elvies NOT auto shutting off when it reached capacity (which you can’t see because the motor totally blocked the collection cups) and I’d find out when the Elvie started overflowing all over me. I also got a weird buzzing feeling from the Elvie I don’t get from this one, and the Elvie motors got weirdly hot. The Imani doesn’t have an auto shutoff tied to cup CAPACITY, but it *does* let you set it to shut off after a certain amount of time and between that, the 7oz cup capacity and the fact that the cups are totally clear and with the only hole being at the top I’ve definitely never overflowed them. On that note, remember that I the cups are pretty big (7oz) and the motor is decent sized so you’re going to need to use a larger bra *and* tilt the motors out of it, and you’ll be able to tell something is in your shirt. But that’s pumping for you!

I’ve been using this as a secondary pump for about 1

month (primary is the Spectra S1) and I find this empties me just as well, I use the 17mm inserts and the silicone flanges are very comfortable. I find that I need a very stretchy bra to accommodate the size of the pump (I have a Kindred Bravely bra in size Large and that works well with my 36D chest), and they’re not as subtle as other wearables may be, but it beats having tubing and flanges that can snag easily when I’m trying to move around. Noise level is more noisy than the Spectra, so people around you would know you’re pumping. The charge lasts several pumping sessions (USB-C charger), and I love that it turns off automatically after 20 minutes especially as an over-supplier so I don’t overflow the cups. I love this pump! I haven't used my Spectra in months because this pump does the work! I work part-time and pump when I work so a few days a week I am pumping all day. I feel empty after each pump, the soft silicone breast shields don't hurt my boobs, and the suction feeling/style is similar to the Spectra in my opinion. I tried an elvie pump beforehand and I got a clogged duct because of it more than once. It is fairly discrete. I am a wedding photographer so sometimes I don't have a private space to pump in at venues but I can still sit in a corner and pump (or walk around pumping if I absolutely have to) and it's not terribly noticeable under a shirt. The battery life on the Imani lasts a long time and I haven't had any issues with the pump pieces or function of the pump. The pump and milk container don't 100% seal so if it gets knocked over or is sitting on a super uneven surface, it may leak but I haven't had any major issues with that. I'm currently 8 months pp and I still rave about it telling every pregnant friend they need one!
