I used the super expensive pump I got through my insurance 2 times. It just wasn't functional and I wasn't expressing much. A friend recommended the Imani i2 pump. I started using it at work, and honestly, it made pumping tolerable. Because of it, I was able to continue my breastfeeding journey while working full-time instead of throwing in the towel. It takes me approximately 20 minutes to express, and about 5 minutes to transfer the milk to a storage container. I recommend emptying the milk after each session as opposed to adding to the container. Putting the pump back on, can result in spillage. The pieces are easy to assemble, you're not plugged into a wall, and the suction is comfortable. I do recommend getting a nursing bra with an underwire and a firm cup to hold them in place. Use a flange as a funnel for milk transfer because pouring it out can get messy. I also found that pointing your nipples downwards when attaching to the pump, help angle your milk into the collection cup. I am actually pumping while I write this review. Please note, this is not discreet, especially if your are large chested. The motor isn't overly loud, but it certainly noticeable.

I use this as a secondary pump if I need to be mobile while I'm out and about and it is GREAT in helping me get a pump in while being able to do something other than be attached to a wall pump. It is definitely noticeable, but I'm okay with that! I bought a second set of parts so I could always have one set of cups ready to go. This is really affordable option to be able to be on the go and I'm so happy with my purchase!

I pump once a day at work, and I’ve been yielding the same amount as with my Spectra S2. Just make sure that all the pieces are lined up exactly as instructed and it works great. The only thing I would change is that I wish it could be sterilized.
