Imani i2 Plus Wearable Breast Pump

SO. I had the momcozy M5 and loved it the first few times but then it wasn’t yielding anything (or so I thought) and messaged mom cozy support - never heard anything back from them. So I actually returned it. I was disheartened by that experience because everyone on tt wouldn’t shut up about how great it was. But Im too stubborn to quit pumping still & started my research again and landed on the Imani. Not a single negative review on tt again (but if you search for momcozy m5 bad review on tt there’s actually tons of videos). So anyways I decided to go for it. Bought the Imani with size 17 flange inserts (same as my spectra) & AT FIRST same thing happened- it was great first two times then it wasn’t as good. I contacted their help/customer service and they replied immediately (which we love) & suggested a size 19 flange “because silicone can behave differently than plastic”. I had said several times I was sized twice by a lactation specialist & was a 17 so I thought they just weren’t listening. But I had some 19s at home (that came with a kit I had ordered previously).

I tried the Imani with the 19s AND IT WAS AWESOME. I am not kidding I usually get 2-4 oz each side with spectra each pump, I get the same if not more with the Imani with the size 19s. I’m kind of a wuss so I am level 8 on spectra and a level 4 on Imani (with a nipple cream lubricant) and there is a liiiiittle discomfort but it’s like a 2/10 and then it’s gone by halfway through the pump.

I was skeptical of all wearable pumps. I wasn't sure how they could outperform, or even simply match the ability of my standard pump. However, when it became clear I needed to be pumping WAY more often and I was so limited by being tethered to the wall with the cords and tubes of my current pump, I started researching. I found this pump was highly rated and reasonably priced and in my desperation I decided to buy it. My first pumping session with this was so easy, comfortable, and I got MORE milk than I typically get with my standard pump! I've been using this regularly for the past few days and I'm in love! I packed up my standard pump since I don't foresee myself using it unless something happens to this one. I couldn't be more pleased with this and I'm recommending it to everyone I know who's pumping/breastfeeding!
