Each month we donate a portion of our proceeds to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. During the month of September 2025, we will be featuring Miles.

Miles was born in February 2025 two weeks early. He spent the first 20 days of his life in the NICU where he would be diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, Severe Tracheomalacia, and other complex medical conditions. Cystic Fibrosis is a life-shortening genetic disease that affects the lungs, digestive system, as well as other organs.

At only five days old, Miles had an ostomy bag placed, which is life saving for him. Since being discharged from the NICU, Miles has spent 20 additional days in the hospital. During those stays, he would have a g-tube placed and an ileostomy reversal. Due to his ongoing medical conditions, Miles requires multiple daily medications, breathing treatments, and multiple therapies. The medications and treatments allow Miles to continue to breathe.

Even with all of his medical hurdles, Miles has proven to be the happiest baby around! He loves listening to his Dad sing Five Little Monkeys and going on morning walks with his Mom. He also loves to spend time with his Auntie Ally! In June, Miles’ family participated in their first Cystic Fibrosis awareness event where his Dad biked in honor of Miles. Their family is committed to raising awareness and advocating for other children and their families who are experiencing a similar diagnosis.

Miles’ family has to travel out of state to visit his medical team that includes Pulmonologists, GI doctors, surgeons, and many therapists. During the month of July, Legendairy Milk will be making a donation to Miles’ family to help with his ongoing medical expenses including their frequent travel days.
