Meet July's Legendairy Little, Willow

Each month we donate a portion of our proceeds to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. During the month of July 2025, we will be featuring Willow.

Willow Grace was born on February 1, 2025 at only 20 weeks gestation due to her Mom’s water breaking. When she was born, Willow weighed 1 lbs 3 oz and doctors gave her a 3% chance of survival. The first two months of her life were very rough, but with the loving support of her family, she was able to be moved to CPAP in the middle of May. At that time, Willow’s medical team held a care conference for all medical providers involved in her care. They told Willow’s family to expect an additional 100 days in the NICU, meaning that it’s expected for Willow to stay in the hospital until she is approximately 250 days old.

As of June 1, Willow is almost ready to pass 6 pounds and her main goal is to gain weight so that her lungs can have more room to grow and develop. She has severe BPD (long term lung disease), Pulmonary Valve Stenosis, and is having difficulties with her kidneys.

Willow loves when her Dad reads her the book Hungry Little Caterpillar and adores her Octopus stuffy. She enjoys playing with the octopus’ tentacles.
