Our pink duckbill valves come with a convenient pull tab so they're easy to remove from your breast shield without risk of tearing. The durable and flexible food-grade silicone promotes strong suction when pumping. Our duckbill valves are also easy to clean and can replace the traditional valve/membrane provided by some breast pump manufacturers.

Our pink duckbill valves come with a convenient pull tab so they're easy to remove from your breast shield without risk of tearing. The durable and flexible food-grade silicone promotes strong suction when pumping. 

DOES YOUR DUCKBILL HAVE A GAP? READ THIS!

If there is a slight gap in a duckbill when it arrives, please be rest assured that it is NOT defective. After extensive testing with a pressure gauge, we found the breast pump suction was not compromised at all.

However, duckbill valves will lose suction with regular wear and tear. Replace them every 1-2 months to ensure optimal performance. Another way to know if your duckbills need to be replaced is by doing this test:

When all your pump parts are properly assembled and your breast pump is turned on, the duckbill will pull closed at the tip. However, if the duckbill looks 'floppy' and is not closing properly when your pump is on, it needs to be replaced.

Sterilization

    Duckbill Valve Replacements

    I prefer Legendairy Duckbill Valves with pull tabs over the original valves that came with my Spectra S1 pump. The pull tab allows for easier removing and I will definitely be purchasing more as replacements are needed.

    These are absolutely the best duckbills to have. The pull tab makes it absolutely so easy to get them off without messing up the duckbills. Regular duckbills also slip off without the pumping spray I use after one pumping session. These do not! I absolutely cannot recommend these duckbills enough! If you haven’t tried them you will not regret it!

    Excellent

    These are better than Spectra brand duckbill valves because of the pull tabs. I honestly only wash them in the dishwasher and they do eventually give out with that treatment, but they’re so economically priced I just buy new ones. Plus I like the plastic case they come in, which can be reused to hold sewing notions, bobby pins and hair ties in your purse, vitamins when you travel, etc.
